Growing up in Istanbul , you cannot help being influenced by the magical fusion of east and west that is all around you. The strong effect of centuries old social and artistic traditions can be seen in the contemporary and hectic lives of Istanbul inhabitants. Most architecture and interiors - from hotels to private homes - adopt the style of mixing oriental ancient crafts with contemporary western styles.

Moving to London and getting more involved in interior design, I started to appreciate other eastern styles of North Africa , India and the orient. At the same time I became aware of the amount of mass produced, low quality products that mostly represent the centuries old crafts of these cultures. For my own house I continued to bring select vibrant objects from Turkey and Middle East to complement my contemporary furniture and otherwise calm colour scheme. In my bathroom I went on using natural, organic bathing traditions of the Turkish Bath the Hamam

I decided to set up this website to bring to you high quality, natural authentic eastern luxuries that would fit modern, contemporary, even minimalist interiors. I decided to start in that most traditional ritual and once the heart of daily social life - the Hamam.

The Hamam is not only about cleaning oneself, it is a complete social ritual. In this website you will find the history of the Hamam and products that are a contemporary interpretation that reflect the essence of the Hamam.
